These prints are derived from footage captured by Telescreens installed in the homes of volunteers, who fully understood the devices’ monitoring and interactive capabilities. The Telescreens streamed curated propaganda content\u2014both real and fabricated\u2014while recording the volunteers\u2019 reactions through built-in cameras. The devices also facilitated communication with the volunteers, involving surveys and questionnaires to capture their responses and engagement with the content. The recorded footage was transformed into UV-activated prints using self-made phosphorescent inks, creating images that remain hidden under normal light but reveal themselves under UV illumination. This process symbolizes the duality of modern surveillance: overt yet often unseen. The\u00a0Telescreen Prints<\/em>\u00a0invite viewers to reflect on the intersection of privacy, awareness, and control in an age where observation and interaction are both voluntary and pervasive.<\/span><\/p>\n
