The Telescreens streamed curated propaganda content\u2014both real and fabricated\u2014while recording the volunteers\u2019 reactions through built-in cameras. The devices also facilitated communication with the volunteers, involving surveys and questionnaires to capture their responses and engagement with the content. The recorded footage was transformed into UV-activated prints using self-made phosphorescent inks, creating images that remain hidden under normal light but reveal themselves under UV illumination. This process symbolizes the duality of modern surveillance: overt yet often unseen.
